Fuel via Low Carbon Integrated Technology From Ethanol
BUILDING A
LOW-CARBON
CLIMATE RESILIENT
FUTURE
Building Europe’s First Of Its Kind Alcohol-To-Jet Production Plant
The FLITE consortium will design, build, and demonstrate a production facility that uses innovative ethanol-based Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ)
technology to produce synthetic paraffinic kerosene (SPK) from wasted-based ethanol with a significant GHG reduction relative to conventional jet. This ATJ technology is flexible with respect to ethanol feedstock and will use ethanol sources from a variety of qualified non-food/feed sources, including industrial waste emissions and cellulosic feedstocks. FLITE involves the whole value chain in the aviation sector to ensure the technology’s market uptake.
TARGETS
